Frogs, making fun of the French?
Not at all, “varför åt jag dessa grodorna” is a way of saying (if you are older than 35) “shit happens” or maybe “that was stupid of me”.
So what now? What have you done? I kind of ended up in the same situation as last year, alone to plan a conference. Not planned but still happens.
Hopefully the escalator take me up there again in the future
As you all know…
Last Friday I went to see the “Golden Tour” with Kylie Minogue at “La Seine Musicale” – A new concert hall in Paris and very well known for the architecture and solar panels. A concert hall for the future where the the electricity collected from the sun gets converted to music so to speak.
You can find more information here.
So, another thing on my bucket list finally done. A concert with Kylie Minogue. And lets face the facts… No one, ever, will bring the world the news of Kylie being a great singer. She is an ok singer but seriously some of the high notes missed their place in life. But its actually not so bad cause it shows its live. Not perfect.
The first part of the show also struggled with major sound problems so it took a while before she managed to suck you in and reach the party mode.
But leaving the place it was with a good feeling so not Mylene Farmer good but actually more than I expected and the new album “Golden” might start to hit my playlists again now when I have some visuals in my head.
So, long time since any posts
Yes, sorry for this but life goes on and time flies so what to do as they say in India?
Since last I have been visiting Sweden and both Norrköping and Stockholm on the agenda and this evening I will (in Paris) take my not so petit body to a concert. No time between leaving work and going to the venue. I hate that, I want to shower and change clothes to at least look like a fan of pop… But no.
But going back in time, visited Norrköping to pay my respect to the people in the family grave, it was All Saints Day after all and planned to meet with more people than the once I actually managed to meet up with during two days.
Stockholm, also for 2 days, kind of being Stockholm as always. Just some shopping, a few beers with friends and not so much more. Stockholm is not all that…
But now back in France I hope to be able to post more.
Wish I could understand why I cannot sleep when I now finally have days off work, and looking out from my window… I am the only one up at this time of the day.
So it’s soon time for a “Tunnbrödrulle” in Sweden, a real one, a “the best hang over food ever” rulle.
Maybe the picture of this specific Sibylla kiosk in Norrköping might be the wrong one to talk about Tunnbrödrulle, since this specific Kiosk has a “Grillspett” (or had in the 70s) you can die for… But it will be visited during my time in Norrköping, visit the site again for updates
How is it possible?
Today my new boss is away on his first visit to the head office to meet all colleagues there and my plan was to work through all emails and throw away stuff I won’t need now when I have a new manager in place…
After 6 hours I’m still on emails… NUFF said!
After a long day with a late Conference call let us join hands and start the countdown towards a few weeks off work and flight to Norrköping and Stockholm to meet… no not halloween (still for me a make up holiday) but All Saints weekend.
So countdown with me, today “3”
Even if it feels like nothing been done over the weekend I managed to do laundry, clean up (cosmetic clean up, not as planned but at least OK), worked some on the mp3 tagging but nothing on the 1990s Eurovision webpage…
And not visited YSL or the Atelier des lumieres, keep on waking on those.
And since its Sunday Des Devoirs, no need to stress today tho´cause no lesson on Monday but I’ve done them and it gives me one more week to study.
Second week with the new boss start tomorrow and I need to make a schedule for the upcoming Conference in Russia.
The feeling of satisfaction
You know when you during the day think “Going out” / “Not going out” and then the calm when you finally decides to stay home in your sweatpants (And yes they have seen better days days since you bought them back in 2004) watching bad sitcoms on the TV.
The same outfit join you for quick walk to the supermarket to buy some kind of snacks, nuts or candy and maybe a soda.
This is what happened right now in my life. The only thing not 100% “on” is that my Orangina addiction, not a taste of Orangina for a year now kind of backlashed tonight….
