A brave idea for Sweden

Let us vote.

As all the world know by now the Swedish election in September 2018 created a chaos and left us elected politicians with no plan and ready to break the promises made to the voters without any second thoughts just so they can rule.

To hear Swedish politicians at the moment… My God, it’s a politic in line with the fantastic UK classic comedy show “Yes Minister” and “Yes Mr Prime Minister” – They are clueless.

SO, since they can’t decide and are willing to sell their souls let us forget the risk of a re-election, no one want that, neither the politicians or the people of Sweden, and do something brave.

We know all people who voted in the election, let them decide by using the amazing little app called BANK ID. The same app who allows Swedes to do everything from logging in to official sites, do their tax return, pay bills and so on…

Use this app for identification and instead of a election just do a Gallup with two alternatives:

  • Do you want a right wing Prime Minister?
  • Do you want a left wing Prime Minister?

And then negotiate after the result from the Gallup. Cause right now when the two candidates who lost the most in the election fight to be the Prime Minister it’s completely ridicule.

And why only the people who voted in the election? Cause they are the once created this situation and must have had an idea if they wanted a left or right wing leader…

I also think such a Gallup can keep up the % of the people who votes cause a new election will for sure not reach any “more than 90%” cause right now politicians in Sweden have lost all their credit with the people…

So let’s gallup

Sweden – Election on Sunday

National election 2018

The election on Sunday in Sweden might be the most exciting election in modern times in Sweden. But it might also be a “same procedure” since Swedes more or less always protest in polls before an election and then crawl back to the mother ship.

But who knows it might be a new era for Sweden. We, who lives/lived in Sweden the past 50 – 40 years, know that the picture of Sweden abroad is 100% based on the good years which ended early in the early 90s. Today Sweden is more like other European countries high unemployment, problems with immigration and so on.

On the more social side Swedes are as always a bit rude, shy before you learn to know them and panic if they not a part of a pack. Alone? Stand out? Take control of your own life and decisions? NO! And a part of the Swedish herd thinking is that Swedes are one of the most, by the state, controlled citizens.

Might sound a bit hard cause life is easy and nice in Sweden and I love my birth country but I think the world need to change the views on Sweden to in full understand whats happening now with the upcoming election.

So on Monday morning we will know the result from Sundays election and a few days before… Let me guess that the Nationalist party will gain votes since last but far away from what’s been in the polls, The Social democrats will most likely end up with more votes than expected based on polls. The alliance (for right wing parties) influence on politics in the future is 100% depending on the Christ democrats manage to pass the 4% they need to stay in the parliament.

And Moi? ah, I have already voted since I live abroad and the last day for us was early this week – and without giving any clues on what I finally decided it was without a doubt an easier task to know who I won’t vote for then the once I liked and decide between them.

The picture? Oh yes, my colleague though UNICORN and ended up in an office pride celebration…

Duty done

My duty as a Swede done.

What a day. Dentist and then off to the Embassy to vote (so now done) and the only thing expected to be done today but the rain put a stop to it (the haircut).

In any case, my first visit to the Swedish Embassy in Paris passed just fine. And I have voted, as said before very easy to say who I won’t vote for but the once still in the race made it harder. So ended up to vote in the same way as the last five elections.

Some Politics and Motorsport

On Instagram Mr Bali took a stand for Motorsport

Hanif Bali, one of the more successful politicians on Social media in Sweden (mainly on Twitter) took a stand for motor sport on his Instagram Account today. And at the same time gave some political comments on the Swedish Government and their policy against driving and Motor Sport.

The main issue been the Green party, Miljöpartiet, in Sweden and their latest comment that families who travel to huge supermarkets outside the city centers to save some money when they do their weekly shopping can take their bikes to do so. So they want to put a fee for cars to park outside those Supermarkets.

The same thing with driving in the cities with a diesel vehicle. If you don’t, as the leader of the party, sometimes drive heavy rocks, then it’s OK to drive diesel.

The same party, also introduced the flight tax in Sweden but use Business class when they fly. For me not a huge issue cause if you sit in the Government flying coach might be a nightmare. But as someone said: “Its not that they fly Business Class that’s the problem. Tjhe problem is that they want to forbid others to fly at all.”
