Yesterday it was the Waffle day, celebrated by me, eating lunch (!?), Swedish waffles (thinner than the Belgian once and without 1 kilo vanilla sugar in the mix) with Lingon Berry whipped cream.
Lingon berry is the best “jam” ever, good to fried minces meat as well as an waffle topping. If you want to try, go to Ikea and buy your “Lingon sylt” – not the best brand but better than nothing. If in Sweden buy a small jar of the real thing and try it out.
I remember that I heard someone calling it Swedish red sauce… To me it’s not a sauce
