I do not know why, but this morning I decided to get off the bus one bus stop earlier than normal and walk the short distance between Auber and Opera.

And I noticed something I never noticed before. In many of the boutiques, small, big, famous brands or cheaper outlets, they cleaned the stores. Nothing strange you might say, but they did this with the store doors completely open and only the cleaning lady inside.

Imagine the same routine in Stockholm? Let me guess the store most likely will be robbed within 10 minutes, and the poor cleaning lady at least hit to the floor if not worse.

This is the difference between Paris today and Stockholm, and will be my number one example when Swedes visit Paris and ask me if it’s safe…
