Any other news during the day? Not many but I still need to put up a warning for Australia cause of their amazing show and late start number.

If not, something I have avoided so far the fact that Madonna will enter the stage in Tel Aviv and the hype among the Eurovision fans. And I understand, it is amazing to have Madonna there but please… When I read fans almost peeing in their pants over this and actually thinking her participation is proof of her being a Eurovision fan. WHAT!?

How can anyone even believe that Madonna takes part for any other reason than marketing her new soon to be released album? Really? Eurovision is one of the most watched music shows in the world and to be able to promote a new album live in front of such a huge amount of viewers, and get paid for it, not even Madonna (if even still a mega star, not that mega today that she was in the 80s 90s 00s) can say no to that opportunity.

It will be fun to see if EBU will say anything about a new Madonna album coming up, maybe even show the CD cover? I am also curious to see her face latest updates. And who look most like Madonna, Tamta (for Cyprus) or Madonna herself.

But OK, now we wait for a fantastic show and if anyone is able to reach the stage to disturb the contest or any political manifestations which country will be the target? And if Iceland win, and no ban stay on the band Hatari will they or will they not take a chance to wave a Palestinian flag?

Eurovision 2019

While I’m still listening in on the entries this year stuff happens in the Eurovision world well worth to discuss for a while.

First of all the announced performance by Madonna, yes she is the interval act 2019 in the final. And of course ESC fans go wild but hold your horses…

I might put my feet in my mouth but as some Tweets, FaceBookers and Instagram Eurovision fans post I do not think for a minute Madonna do this cause she is a Eurovision fan. The gal is smart and an entertainer and business woman first and it so happens she will release new material in 2019 after years of nothing. I think her last album was released 2015 (?)

And with the combination of a filthy rich guy paying her well and the promotion her new music will get performing in Eurovision well, win win so to speak.

Win win? Yes, she will have the promotion of a lifetime and the Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv will most likely be the Eurovision Song Contest year with most viewers ever and from the broadcaster it’s a huge bitch slap in the face of all protesters saying that countries need to boycott the event this year.

And of course EBU will push that a record of viewers just proof the popularity of the show. Future EBU statement: “it has nothing to do with Madonna”

So what about this Madonna thing then? For me… I’m not that exited my Madonna years stopped around 1992 with “Erotica” since then, for me, she released some good singles but not even on my top ten favorites recording artists at the moment. But she is an amazing performer so I do not doubt for a second it will be a great show.

And let us say her saying yes to this will most likely push the Government in Israel to pay for the security which will now go from a 9 to 10. Tel Aviv will be the most secure city in the world 2 weeks in May. And a tip from me in Paris knowing how security works leave your back packs, bags and man bags at home to avoid being stopped over and over.

My friends don’t understand me….

It’s obvious that my friends don’t understand me, or more they do not understand the meaning of life… My former colleague Agustina entered her work without a clue who Mylène Farmer is… I tried to update her on the obvious: “Take Beatles, ABBA, Rollings Stones, Mozart, Beyoncè and Madonna” and morph them into one person and you will end up with Mylène Farmer.

From my point of view a perfect and very true statement something my next former colleague Sèbastien kind of thought was “en peu” outside real life but at least he admitted that she is a French icon.

So, yesterday I received my ticket for the First Concert in June 2019, yes the FIRST of (I think 7 all together) which i gladly shared on the social media at my disposal and the reaction from my envious friends was – NADA! NIENTE! NONE! AUCUN!

Don’t you understand how jealous you all need to be? Whats wrong with you guys?

So, I only announce this once, I will try to get tickets to at least 2 more of the Concert dates but cheaper seats, “Da Girl is expensive to watch live”
