Yes, I agree…. Paris is without tourists and it might not be the best for the economy but gosh how nice it it is to be able to walk around without bumping into around 50% more people everywhere. And this from a non French person…

But today, I decided, again, to walk down to the local café and it was a perfect decision. Paris was in its best summer mood but still not to crowded, like one of the days when Paris is at its best. A day when you remember why this city is the best in the world.
