So, we have a take off for the Eurovision 2019 and the semifinal number 1 ended with not many surprises but let’s see.

The first semifinal was the one to enter with a good song, cause it was an easier semi to qualify to the final from. Semi 2 tomorrow is packed with good songs and will kick out more real finalists from the competition than yesterdays semi 1. So to not qualify from yesterdays competition… You might now have stand a chance anyway.

Watching ESC on French TV I can only say I have no idea if the hosts made a good job cause the French team speaks over everything. Even when they say that should listen to the hosts they speak over everything.

And no one can be happy to see Netta again but as the winner last year we won’t be able to hide from her and Dana International, serious? She was the guest at Melodifestivalen 2019 so kind of not a surprise. And why not market a new single? Even Madonna will use Eurovision for that reason on Saturday.

And the songs? Not much surprises there either, I wish Serbia never passed on to the final but at the end I managed to place 8 of my own top 10 (and 8 from my list of guesses) so I must say I am happy.

Any songs who might climb in my results on Saturday? Yes Australia, the act was amazing, so beautiful and lifted the song from mediocre Opera to 3 minutes of fun. San Marina might have surprised in the other way sounded “not so good” but many singers must have problem with their in ear sets cause many of them turned out to be out of key yesterday.

And the sound was one thing the broadcaster must work on, some songs had almost no music, others no singing from the main performer whilst the chorus was perfect. So work on that please.
